|Veterinarians recommend that dental care should be part of our overall care for our dogs. While doggie toothpaste and brushes are available, some dogs object to them.
|We use PetzLife, a simple spray into the dog's mouth, as an easy and effective method to keep our dog's teeth healthy. A gel is also available to spread on their gums, which they will then lick off, spreading the gel over their teeth.
The ingredients mix with your dog's saliva and, over time, safely remove plaque and tartar, reversing gum disease and killing the bacteria in mouth that causes bad breath.
PetzLife is 100% natural and holistic, using distilled water, alcohol, grapefruit seed extract, rosemary, thyme, neem and peppermint oils.
Usage: for the first month, spray into your dog's mouth, or spread the gel on his gums first thing in the morning and last at night. Withhold food and water for 30 minutes after.
Your should start seeing results in the first week as the plaque begins to recede and gums look healthier. Over time, you can reduce application to three times a week.
Our hint: we trained BeBe and Shadow to accept the spray by spraying onto a plain dog chew at first. The chewing action was helpful also. Now that they are used to the taste, they permit us to spray directly into their mouths.
